3 Things I Have Learnt This Week

1. Sports: I learnt how to do high jump. It was fun, but left me bruised badly!

2.  iTunes : I never knew that you could change your iTunes logo!

3. Never waste H2O: I used the water used to wash rice for my money plants and saved 0.5 % in my mother's water bill.

3 Things I Learnt This Week

1. Biology: I now know how to use a proper microscope! It was fascinating looking at he stained epidermal cell of an onion!

2. Sports: Liverpool (My favourite football team!!) was drawn with Chelsea last night at 2-2!

3. Be smart and think big: I did community service for an Orang Asli village, by selling earrings and necklaces they have made to earn money for them.

3 Things I Learnt This Week

Mathematics: I never knew that different quadilaterals and triangles could be put together to create a totally different shape.

Games Carnival: I learnt how to long jump! It was fun to jump over the sand and then fall down and laugh together with my team mates.

Save Trees!!: I planted a small tree in my garden. I water it everyday and watch it grow. It grows quickly.

3 Things I Learnt This Week

1. Performing Arts: I learnt how to mime! It was really hard work trying not to talk. Phew.
2. Science World: I never knew there were such things as a foldable car! Totally awesome!
3. LOL: I helped my friend Rachel with her swimming strokes because she had a swimming competition coming up. It was super cool when she did a perfect backflip while swimming backstroke!

3 Things I Learnt This Week

1. Malay Language : I learnt how to write a traditional poem. So complicated! Rhyming is the hardest part of all.......

2. American Idol : I never knew that American Idol had a female winner since SIX YEARS ago!!!! Let's hope that this year a girl wins. Go ladies!!

3. Save The World (Earth Hour) : I switched off my lights throughout my apartment for an hour to help preserve our beautiful environment. When I looked out of my balcony, instead of bright lights, it was PITCH BLACK! It was very cool! :D

Yasyika Alegesam graduated from Cempaka Damansara Heights this June as Head Prefect, Seladang House Captain, YJC Head for Designing and Interact Club Treasurer.  

In the IGCSE examinations, Yasyika scored scored 6A stars and in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, she scored 45 points out of the possible 45.

Yasyika is a well-rounded student. Outside of the classroom, Yasyika has won 4 gold medals in tennis, 2 of them from MSSWP and the other 2 from the school's annual Games Carnival. She has also won 3 silver medals in Badminton. Yasyika is also a talented violinist who has achieved a Grade 8 in her ABRSM examinations. She also has achieved a Grade 8 in her piano ABRSM examinations. Yasyika has also attended the Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions the school has arranged. She has also sat for all the DELF and DALF French examinations and achieved straight As. She speaks Mandarin fluently and also has achieved straight As for her IGCSE examinations.

(What sets her apart is her proactive and go-getter personality. She is also a frequent visitor of the orphanages and SPCA centers.)

As a person, Yasyika is very popular and friendly with the teachers and her friends. She is an active person in sports and loves reading many books. She is also a very successful head prefect, who keeps an eye out for the fellow students in the school.

She has our highest recommendation, and we wish her all success.
